Why I Switched to Smaller Dabs: What My Endometriosis Journey Taught Me About Dosing

By Queenee

When I first started dabbing, I used to think the bigger the glob, the better the relief.

In my head, more concentrate meant more plant medicine inside of me — and that meant I’d feel better faster.

But over the years, I learned the hard way that bigger doesn’t always mean better.

Not only was I wasting dabs, but those huge servings sometimes hit my system so fast that my body couldn’t metabolize the THC before I gave myself another big dab.

And when that happens?

Nausea. Dizzy spells. Uncomfortable heaviness. Overthinking & Anxiety.

Almost the opposite of relief.

As someone with stage 4 endometriosis, fibromyalgia, inflammation, and chronic pain, feeling nauseous on top of all of that is the last thing I need.

So I started paying attention to what my body was actually telling me.

How Smaller Dabs Changed My Entire Pain Routine

Over time, I realized something:

I get better relief from smaller doses, more frequently, instead of blowing through huge servings all at once.

Taking small dabs every 3–4 hours keeps my system steady.

It keeps my pain from building up to a place where I’m desperate for relief.

It keeps me functional.

And it stops those uncomfortable symptoms that can happen when you overload your body with too much THC at once. Think of it like micro dosing throughout the day instead of constant huge hits.

Smaller servings give my body time to actually absorb what I’m taking in — and that’s made a huge difference in:

my pain levels

my nausea

my mobility

my mood

and my functionality

This is the part nobody explained to me in the beginning.

I had to learn it myself and I wish someone had told me sooner.

Why “Less” Works Better for People with Chronic Pain

For medical dabbers like me, it’s not about getting “the biggest cloud.” It’s about staying comfortable, healthy, and pain free.

Large servings can:

spike your heart rate

overwhelm your endocannabinoid system

hit too strong too fast

trigger nausea

cause dizziness

make symptoms feel heavier instead of lighter

Meanwhile, small dabs, taken consistently:

give smoother relief

keep pain under control

prevent flare-ups

reduce nausea

avoid overloading your system

keep you functional throughout the entire day

It’s a steady flow instead of a rollercoaster.

My Puffco & Proper Dosing

One of the tools that helped me learn this the most was the original Puffco Proxy. Because the chamber is small, it naturally taught me what a “true serving” looks like.

A tiny dab can hit JUST as hard

The relief is cleaner

The nausea is gone

And I don’t crash afterward

It changed how I look at medicine altogether. The new proxy has a 3-D XL chamber so now you can serve yourself a bigger serving, but that's another story for another blog.

If you’re managing a chronic condition like endometriosis, fibromyalgia, or daily inflammation… your body deserves doses that support it, not overwhelm it or further stress it out.

Bigger doesn’t always mean better.

Sometimes bigger just means… too much.

Small, frequent servings have changed my pain management, my nausea, and honestly — my whole quality of life.

If nobody has told you this yet:

You’re allowed to start small.

You’re allowed to dose intentionally.

And you deserve relief that actually feels good. 💛👑

Remember, we dab smarter over here, not harder.

23 Things I’ve Learned in 23 Days of Showing Up For Myself

By Queenee Da Kritic

For the past 23 days, I’ve been on a mission to hit 10K followers—but more than that, I’ve been on a mission to show up for me. This challenge has been uncomfortable, healing, eye-opening, and honestly… the first time in a long time that I’ve been consistent for myself and not for anyone else.

Here are 23 real things I’ve learned during these 23 days:

Consistency is a muscle. The more I use it, the less resistance I feel.

Planning saves my mental health. When I follow a strategy, I don’t spiral.

Staying in my lane brings peace. Comparison steals my energy every time.

My voice is enough. I don’t need to be louder—I just need to be true.

Healing my inner child shows up in my creativity. She finally feels safe to play and be around others.

Healing my teenage self reminds me I deserve to be seen. Not hidden. Not quiet. Not in a corner.

Posting what makes me feel good hits harder than trying to impress people.

My people find me when I’m myself. Not the polished version—me.

Resilience isn’t pretty. Some days I film through tears or anxiety, and I still show up.

ADHD doesn’t mean I can’t be consistent. It means I need structure—and when I give myself that, I thrive.

Depression and grief don’t disqualify me. They remind me I’m human. It’s ok to be perfectly imperfect.

I can make great content even on low-energy days. Showing up counts.

I don’t need the perfect setup. The value is in the message, not the background.

My audience responds most when I’m educating from the heart. Especially about dabbing, terps, and pain.

I’m allowed to pivot. If something isn’t working, I can change it.

The Queenee brand grows when I show up for myself. My healing is my content.

I’m capable of showing up even when my emotions feel heavy.

Not every reel needs to blow up. Some posts are seeds, not the finished product.

Speaking to “my women,” my community, my “Endo Sisters” voice—this is what creates connection.

My worth isn’t tied to numbers. I’m building a foundation, not chasing a viral moment.

Every time I choose myself, it reflects in my content.

I’m not doing this for validation. I’m doing it to build a life and platform for my future. I’m building generational wealth and starting at 47.

I’m proud of myself—truly. 23 days in, and I’m finally seeing the version of me I always knew existed.

If you’re reading this, thank you for supporting my journey.

I’m not perfect, but I’m consistent. And that’s what’s moving mountains for me right now.

Crown up, mi gente. We’re only getting started. 👑

The Truth About Dirty ISO (And How It Low-Key Messed Up My Banger)” By Queenee Da Kritic

Let me start by saying this:

I am NOT perfect with my dab tools — and I’ve done some damage because of it.

People think because I’m a dab educator that I know everything. Nope. My education comes from the patient perspective of someone who is still learning. I aim for constant education and not perfection. I learned a LOT of this the hard way, and dirty ISO was one of my biggest mistakes that I was making as a medical dabber.

I remember the first time someone at a sesh pointed it out to me. I was not properly cleaning my banger before dunking it into my dunk tank and my ISO was quickly going from crispy clear to brown and dirty.

I was dabbing with someone who had way more experience than me, and we were using my tank. When he noticed I was dunking right after I dabbed he looked at me and said, “Queenee, your ISO is getting dirty faster because you’re not swabbing off the excess reclaim before dunking. You’re doing this glass wrong and you are probably going through your iso supply quicker.”

And honestly? He was right.

I had been dunking my hot quartz into the same ISO over and over, not pre-cleaning, not paying attention, and the residue started building up so bad that my slurper plate literally disconnected from the base at a sesh.

It wasn’t the glass.

It wasn’t the maker.

It was me not taking care of it.

I was treating high-quality glass like it was replaceable — and with how much we spend on this stuff? It’s not.

Apex Ancillary XL ISO Station

Why dirty ISO messes up your tools

Here’s the thing nobody told me when I started:

When you dunk a hot banger into dirty ISO, all the burnt oil, reclaim, carbon flakes, and tiny particles get pulled right back onto the quartz.

It cools unevenly → thermal shock

It scratches the surface → chazz/cloudy quartz

It sticks to the joints → broken slurper plates

Hot → cold dunking causes stress fractures

Dirty ISO can re-deposit reclaim instead of removing it.

Residue buildup can weaken the connection points on slurpers

Milky ISO = milky quartz

The pre-clean:

Once I realized the problem, I changed one thing that made ALL the difference:

I started pre-cleaning with a Glob Mops before dunking.

Here’s my exact routine now:

Mop out the banger (while it’s warm but not hot)
→ gets rid of oil, char, and leftovers

THEN dunk into ISO
→ clean ISO actually stays clean longer

Replace ISO when it’s cloudy — not every hit
→ realistic AND good for the glass

This one little step keeps my dunk tank from turning into a muddy tank of burnt oil and reclaim — and it’s the reason my quartz looks so much cleaner now.

Why this matters (especially for medical dabbers like me)

Clean tools = clean medicine.

And for me, this isn’t about being “heady” or looking aesthetic on Instagram.

It’s about managing:

endometriosis pain

fibromyalgia flare-ups

inflammation

anxiety

sleep

Dirty glass gives you harsh hits, more coughing, more irritation, and honestly? Less relief.

I need every sesh to count — and clean tools make a HUGE difference in how I receive my medicine.

Tips to keep your ISO cleaner, longer

Here are realistic ways to stretch your ISO WITHOUT destroying your glass:

Pre-clean with a Glob Mop every time

Don’t dunk when the banger is too hot

Keep your ISO covered so it doesn’t evaporate

Switch it out as soon as it gets cloudy

Use a smaller dunk tank so you waste less

Pour old ISO through a coffee filter to remove particles

These are things you can do without going through a bottle a day.

If nobody’s told you this before, let me be the one:

MAKE SURE YOU PRE CLEAN YOUR GLASS BEFORE DUNKING!

Because we dab smarter over here, not harder.

Why Cleaning Your Dab Tools Matters: The 3 Reasons Medical Dabbers Can’t Skip This Step.

Apex Ancillary Magnetic Tool Stand

Before I became “Queenee the Dab Educator,” I was just a medical dabber trying to manage stage 4 endometriosis and fibromyalgia. I knew concentrates helped my pain, but no one ever taught me the proper ritual of dabbing — the cleanliness, the preparation, the respect for the tools that deliver your medicine.

That changed the first time I ever had a private session with Avi, from Apex Ancillary

I pulled up nervous, excited, and totally clueless. When I walked in, Avi already had my entire setup ready. My eyes went straight to the magnetic Apex Ancillary dab tools laid perfectly across a clean, organized board. The whole setup looked proper, intentional, and honestly… fancy.

It was the first time I ever saw dabbing presented like a respected craft — not something thrown together, but something curated.

I remember leaving that sesh thinking:

“I want my tools and my routine to always look like this.”

That moment stayed with me. A couple of months later, Apex released an collab with the glassmaker Sibelly. I reached out and Avi graciously let me buy a beautiful dab tool open layaway, but he gave me the tool up front so that I could use it in my content, It took me six months but I faithfully made him one payment a month until it was paid off. That built trust and full circle — today I’m officially sponsored by Apex Ancillary, the very tools I admired in that room. Their precision, cleanliness, and quality influence the way I educate new dabbers every single day.

WHY CLEANING YOUR DAB TOOLS MATTERS

Education and representation matter — especially for medical dabbers. Your tools aren’t accessories… they’re part of your regimen. They’re part of your medicine.

You wouldn’t swallow dirty pills.

You wouldn’t inject insulin with a contaminated needle.

So why would you introduce your medicine through tools that aren’t clean?

Here are the three core reasons clean dab tools are essential:

1. Prevent Cross-Contamination

Each profile has a purpose — pain relief, inflammation support, mood elevation, sleep, etc. Dirty tools mix old residue with new rosin, changing:

The effects

The flavor

The medicinal benefit

For medical consumers like me, precision matters.

2. Avoid Burning Anything That Isn’t Plant Material

Residue, dust, lint, or oxidized rosin burns hotter and harsher, and it irritates your throat and lungs.

When your tool touches your banger, whatever is on the tool becomes part of the inhaled vapor — clean tools mean clean medicine.

3. Protect Flavor, Potency & Temperature

Old rosin oxidizes and darkens. If it’s on your dab tool, it immediately affects:

The taste (it’ll taste burnt or bitter)

The hit (it’ll be harsher)

The temperature control (dirty tools heat unevenly)

Clean tools = better terpene expression = smoother relief.

THE PROPERNESS OF THE RITUAL

Avi taught me something that day that I still teach new dabbers:

“Your tools and your glass deserve care, because they’re part of the medicine that cares for you.”

Keeping your tools clean isn’t “extra.” It’s not about aesthetics.

It’s about:

Safety

Flavor

Health

Respecting the plant

Respecting your body

And it only takes a few seconds.

Cleaning your dab tools is one of the simplest ways to elevate your relief, your ritual, and your relationship with concentrates. It’s a small habit with a huge impact.

Shoutout to Apex Ancillary for supporting my journey, my education, and the medical dabbers who rely on clean, intentional tools every single day. If you want a dab station of your own visit www.apexancillary.com and use code QUEENEE.

Why 3 Strain Profiles Work Better Than One: A Beginner’s Guide for Pain Relief.

Why One Strain Isn’t Enough

If you’re using concentrates for pain relief — especially endometriosis, inflammation, pelvic pain, or fibromyalgia — one strain profile won’t carry you through the entire day.

Every profile has its own terpene structure.

And every terpene interacts with your nervous system in a different way.

Your pain isn’t just one profile

so your relief shouldn’t be either.

The 3-Profile Rotation (My Personal Method)

1. Inflammation Profile

Look for terpenes like:

• Caryophyllene

• Limonene

• Humulene

These help reduce swelling, nerve pain, and gut-related discomfort.

Perfect for the morning or during flare-ups.

2. Mood / Mental Lift Profile

Perfect for:

• Low motivation

• Pain depression

• Emotional fatigue

• Brain fog

Look for:

• Linalool

• Pinene

• Terpinolene

This keeps your mood and focus stable without overstimulation.

3. Pain Relief / Body Relief Profile

This is your “deep relief” jar.

The one you reach for at night or during intense symptoms.

Look for:

• Myrcene

• Caryophyllene

• Limonene

• Nerolidol

Great for pelvic floor tension, deep cramps, and nerve pain.

Why This Works

When you rotate profiles throughout the day:

• Your tolerance doesn’t spike

• Your body doesn’t get “used to” one terpene

• Your pain relief stays consistent

• You avoid heavy grogginess

• You can support ALL your symptoms — not just one

This approach changed my life as someone managing stage 4 endometriosis and fibromyalgia.

Try It Yourself

Start with 3 small jars:

• 1 inflammation

• 1 mood

• 1 pain relief

You’ll feel the difference within the first few days.
