Melodie “Queenee” Gonzalez is a New York cannabis educator, concentrate specialist, and chronic pain advocate with over 25 years of clinical medical experience.
A Bronx-born Latina and registered medical assistant since 2001, Melodie worked across orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, pulmonary/internal medicine, and gastroenterology. Her background in patient care, medical systems, and anatomy gives her a rare, informed perspective in the cannabis industry… one that bridges traditional healthcare and plant medicine.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and fibromyalgia, she began exploring solventless cannabis concentrates as part of her personal healing journey. Through education, intentional consumption, and product literacy, she transitioned away from multiple prescription medications and reclaimed autonomy over her body.
Today, through House of Queenee, she provides:
Concentrate education and dab literacy
Budtender training and dispensary education in New York
Endometriosis Education & Conscious Consumption
Women-centered cannabis wellness advocacy
She is the host of Sesh with Queenee, a platform centering women and people navigating chronic pain through plant medicine. Her work challenges stereotypes around cannabis consumers while elevating responsible, informed use.
Her philosophy is simple:
The Sesh Is Sacred.
And education is empowerment.
